RIYADH — Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Salman chaired the meeting held by the Council of Economic and Development Affairs (CEDA) on Tuesday at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh.

The Council discussed the presentation submitted by the Strategic Management Office of the Council regarding the governance of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and the roles of the supporting agencies.

During the meeting, the Council reviewed a number of economic and development issues, including the presentation submitted by the Ministry of Economy and Planning on local and global economic developments.

The presentation included a forecast at the prospects for the global economy during the upcoming period and an analysis of the most important indicators.

It also reviewed a presentation submitted by the Ministry of Health regarding the latest developments related to COVID-19 pandemic, and a presentation submitted by the Project Management Office at the Secretariat of the Council on following up decisions and recommendations approved by the council during the fourth quarter of 2022.

The Council has taken the decisions and recommendations regarding these issues, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Cabinet approved the Strategic Committee of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs (CEDA) decisions and assignments taken in regard to indicators and targets resulting from the National Outputs Review Workshop.
