RIYADH — MENA Communications and Saudi Telecom Company (STC) have announced the launch of the “Beem”application for instant messaging (IM), during the activities of the second edition of the LEAP2023 conference in Riyadh.

The launch of the application is the culmination of a Saudi-Chinese partnership represented by STC and MENA communication, as “Beem” is a competing application for IM, high-quality voice and video calls, and business services.

Beem application offers a feature-rich IM experience, and high-quality personal and group voice and video calls. It supports the addition of advanced and popular video filters. Beem application features the creation of “stickers” with a single click inside the app, interacting with messages to enable Beem users to express themselves easily and creatively.

Beem also provides unique tools for businesses and work teams, by providing the “Drive” feature, which is an integrated office application package “Office” with support for text files, tables and presentations, with the ability to edit files and work together on them directly. In addition, it has the feature of video meetings and their scheduling with the support of up to 150 users at the same time. Beem also offers shared task management and a synchronized calendar that supports linking to external applications.

Beem users will be able to download the new messaging application from Google Play Store for Android phones and App Store for iPhone. It also provides both Windows and Mac desktop versions. — SPA
