King Salman, Crown Prince issue directives for air bridge, popular campaign to succor earthquake victims

RIYADH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Salman have directed the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) to operate a relief air bridge and organize popular campaign through Sahem platform to succor earthquake victims in Syria and Turkey.

They also ordered to extend various kinds of assistance to the earthquake victims.

The King and the Crown Prince expressed their sincere condolences and sympathy to Turkey and Syria, and their peoples, especially the families of the victims.

They wished speedy recovery for those injured in the devastating calamity that hit some Turkish and Syrian regions, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

The King and the Crown Prince reaffirmed that Saudi Arabia stands by these two countries in tackling with this humanitarian tragedy.

Expressing solidarity with the two sisterly countries, they ordered to provide support and assistance to these countries in their hour of crisis by sending rescue teams and operating an air bridge to dispatch medical and humanitarian aid on an urgent basis.
