RIYADH — Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture Eng. Abdulrahman Bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli received at his office Tuesday Ibrahim Thiaw, executive secretary of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification.

The meeting discussed the arrangements regarding the Kingdom’s hosting of the Conference of the Parties (COP16) in 2024.

They also discussed Kingdom’s procedures to protect the environment and combat desertification and drought, including the Saudi and Middle East Green Initiatives. — SPA
