MUNICH — Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal Bin Farhan Bin Abdullah met Sunday with German Chancellery Foreign and Security Policy Advisor Jens Ploetner, on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference in Germany.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and joint coordination and ways to enhance them in all fields as well as regional and international developments, mainly the two countries’ joint efforts to enhance peace and stability in the region and the world.
Prince Faisal also met with German Minister of State and Head of Bavarian State Chancellery Florian Herrmann on the sidelines of Munich Security Conference 2023 in Germany.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the solid relations between Saudi Arabia and Germany, ways to support and enhance them to serve common interests, various regional and international developments, and key issues discussed at Munich Security Conference 2023.
He also met with Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, on the sidelines of Munich Security Conference 2023 in Germany.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the solid relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, and ways to support and enhance them to serve common interests.
This is in addition to key issues discussed at Munich Security Conference 2023, and the importance of strengthening multilateral action to achieve international peace and security.
Prince Faisal met with Austrian Federal Minister for European and International Affairs Alexander Schallenberg, on the sidelines of Munich Security Conference 2023.
During the meeting, they discussed the solid relations between Saudi Arabia and Austria, ways to support and enhance them to serve common interests, and aspects of intensifying bilateral coordination on many issues of concern to the two countries.
The two ministers touched on various regional and international developments, including strengthening efforts to lay the foundations for peace being exerted by the two countries in the region and the world, and key issues discussed at Munich Security Conference 2023.
The Saudi minister met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Netherlands, Wopke Hoekstra, on the sidelines of Munich Security Conference 2023 in Germany.
During the meeting, they reviewed aspects of Saudi-Dutch relations and cooperation, and ways to support and enhance them in a way that serves the interests of the two countries and achieves further prosperity for the two friendly countries and peoples.
The two sides exchanged views on the Russian-Ukrainian crisis, international efforts being exerted to resolve the crisis politically to achieve international peace and security, and a number of issues and developments in the regional and international arenas.
Prince Faisal also met on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference in Germany with BMW Group CEO Oliver Zipse. The meeting went over the importance of stability and security in supporting Sustainable Development Goals and prosperity,
The two sides also discussing Saudi Arabia’s fast-growing economy in light of the Saudi Vision 2030 and the mega investment opportunities it provides for local and foreign investors in various fields.
He met with CEO of the Italian Company Leonardo SpA, Alessandro Profumo on the sidelines of the Muich Security Conference in Germany.
The meeting went over the important role of stability and security in supporting Sustainable Development Goals and peoples’ prosperity, stressing the importance of partnerships between the public and private sectors in this regard.
The two sides also discussed the accelerated development Saudi Arabia is witnessing in localizing the security and defense sectors and space exploration in light of the Saudi Vision 2030 and the mega investment opportunities it provides for local and foreign investors in various sectors. — SPA
