RIYADH — Ministry of Interior has confirmed that the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) is the only specialized body that is responsible for receiving and collecting donations and sending them abroad.
The ministry said that the usage of the approved official platform in Saudi Arabia for donations guarantees their reach to those who deserve it, noting that the "Sahem" platform is the authority authorized to do so.
Any donor who violates this norm and does not deal with the official platforms in the Kingdom will be subject to legal accountability, the ministry warned.
It is noteworthy that the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) had announced on Saturday that the donations of the popular campaign to help the earthquake victims of Turkey and Syria has exceeded SR380 million.
