RIYADH — The Saudi-Lithuanian Business Forum organized by the Federation of Saudi Chambers (FSC) was held Sunday in Riyadh, with the participation of government agencies and business owners from both countries.
The Minister of Agriculture of Lithuania affirmed the readiness of his country to provide high-quality food and agricultural products to the Saudi market.
He said that he was looking forward to signing trade agreements and greater cooperation between the two countries in the field of food security, as economic challenges continue to impact global supply chains.
He noted that Lithuania’s food products reach more than 52 countries around the world.
For his part, the head of the Federation of Saudi Chambers, Hassan Al-Huwaizi stated that trade exchange between the Kingdom and Lithuania witnessed a positive development in 2022 .
He added, Saudi and Lithuanian markets enjoy multiple comparative advantages allowing economic cooperation between the two countries, as the volume of trade exchange between the Kingdom and Lithuania reached SR375 million in 2021. — SPA
