RIYADH — The Riyadh Region Municipality has launched the first phase of the vehicles public parkings' plan in the Saudi capital.

The first phase includes 10 areas distributed into 3 groups, the first of which is located in the east of King Fahad Road.

The second is in west of King Fahad Road, as it will extend to the north of King Abdullah Road, and the south of Makkah Road, while the third group is located in the center of Riyadh.

This step aims in improving mobility by providing transportation alternatives such as scooters and bicycles, reducing random parking within residential neighborhoods, in addition to improving the urban landscape.

The public parkings' plan in Riyadh will contribute to raising the level of quality of life and services for residents and visitors, thus helping to facilitate their access to vital destinations in the city.

It will also work to meet the residents' needs for parking lots in different areas within Riyadh
