RIYADH — Twenty Saudi relief trucks have crossed into the Syrian borders on Thursday, in order to distribute relief aid in the earthquake-affected regions in Syria.

The trucks provided by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) have carried tons of food and shelter materials, to distribute them to those affected by the earthquake.

The head of the KSRelief’ delegation Fahad Al-Osaimi said, while speaking to Al-Ekhbariya, that there more 22 trucks will cross the Syrian borders on Friday.

During the upcoming days, many projects will be conducted inside Syria, as it will meet all the humanitarian needs at the level of health and shelter, Al-Osaimi said, expecting that 300,000 people will benefit from these projects.

It is noteworthy that this humanitarian aid has come in implementation of the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Salman, to help the affected people from the massive earthquake that shook Turkey and Syria.

The donations of the popular campaign which was launched by the KSRelief to help and to alleviate the suffering of the earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria, has exceeded SR440 million.
