NEW DELHI — Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal Bin Farhan Bin Abdullah Thursday met with Chinese Minister of Foreign Affairs Qin Gang, on the sidelines of the G20 foreign ministers’ meeting, currently being held in India.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed strong relations between the two friendly countries and ways to boost them within the framework of the comprehensive strategic partnership, and went over all regional and international issues of mutual interest.
They also addressed means to intensify coordination in a way that serves the two countries’ interests and exchanged views on subjects on the meeting’s agenda. Saudi Ambassador to India Saleh Bin Eid Al-Hussaini attended the meeting.
Prince Faisal also met Spanish Minister for Foreign Affairs José Manuel Albares, on the sidelines of the G20 foreign ministers’ meeting, currently being held here.
Talks during the meeting went over friendship and cooperation relations between the two countries and means to enhance, support and develop cooperation aspects in various fields.
The two sides also discussed ways to intensify coordination on various regional and international issues of mutual interest, as well as exchanging views on the latest developments in the Russian-Ukrainian crisis and efforts being exerted in this regard.
Prince Faisal too met with Argentinian Minister of Foreign Affairs Santiago Cafiero, on the sidelines of the G20 foreign ministers’ meeting.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the advanced relations between the two friendly countries and ways to support and enhance them in all fields, and went over the latest regional and international developments of mutual interest.
They also discussed means to intensify coordination in a way that serves the two countries’ interests and exchanged views on subjects on the meeting’s agenda.
Saudi Ambassador Al-Hussaini and Director General of the Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Dawood attended the two meetings. — SPA
