ANKARA — An earthquake measuring 5 on the Richter scale struck Kahramanmaraş, southern Turkey, at dawn on Friday.
The Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Agency, AFAD, said in a statement published by the Anadolu Agency that the earthquake occurred at 05:53 this morning.
It indicated that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 6.95 kilometers below the surface of the earth, and its epicenter was the Oniki Shabat district. — Agencies
