RIYADH — Saudi Arabia has sent two relief planes to Ukraine, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Friday.

The two relief planes carrying 168 tons of the Kingdom's aid to the Ukrainian people headed to Polish airport near the Ukrainian border.

The planes include shelter materials, electric generators, as well as medical supplies, which will be delivered across the Polish border into Ukraine.

It is noteworthy that the Kingdom signed last week $400 million agreement and a memorandum of understanding to provide an additional humanitarian aid package to Ukraine.

The Kingdom had previously provided urgent medical and housing aid worth $10 million to refugees from Ukraine to neighboring countries, especially Poland, in coordination with the Polish government. and United Nations organizations.
