PARIS — Saudi Arabia and the Principality of Monaco signed a joint statement to establish diplomatic relations between the two countries.

It comes within the framework of strengthening relations and expanding cooperation between the two countries.

The statement was signed on behalf of the Kingdom by Ambassador to France Fahd Al-Ruwaili, while it was signed on behalf of the Principality of Monaco by its Ambassador to France, Christophe Steiner.

The two ambassadors affirmed that the signing of the statement comes within the framework to strengthen bilateral relations, achieve the aspirations of their peoples, and expand horizons of cooperation and friendship in various fields.
