Dr. Al-Tuwaijri, Houngbo discuss Kngdom’s keenness to make people a priority in all fields

GENEVA — The Saudi Human Rights Commission (HRC) President Dr. Hala Bint Mazyad Al-Tuwaijri has held a meeting at the headquarters of the International Labor Organization (ILO) in Geneva with ILO Director-General, Gilbert F. Houngbo.

They met on the sidelines of the 52nd session of the United Nations Human Rights Council, currently being held in Geneva, in the presence of the Saudi Permanent Representative to the UN and international organizations Abdulmohsen Bin Khathila.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed Saudi Arabia’s efforts in human rights and its keenness to make people a priority in all fields. The meeting also touched on issues of interest between the commission and the organization.

The two sides also discussed aspects of bilateral cooperation in the field of human rights and enhancing joint coordination to boost the protection and promotion of human rights. —SPA
