Saudi Arabia supports Ajay Banga nomination for presidency of World Bank

RIYADH — Minister of Finance Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan has met with Ajay Banga, the candidate nominated for Presidency of the World Bank (WB) Group.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the World Bank vision and priorities during the next period.

Banga reviewed with Al-Jadaan his vision to achieve the development objectives of the World Bank.

For his part, Al-Jadaan pointed out that Saudi Arabia supports Banga’s nomination for the World Bank’s presidency.
