JEDDAH — Yemeni Minister of Defense Maj. Gen. Mohsen Al-Daari and Commander of the Support Forces in the Coalition Joint Forces to Support Legitimacy in Yemen Maj. Gen. Sultan Al-Baqami visited the Thurah front in Abyan governorate to personally inspect the readiness of troops.
They were accompanied by the Commander of the Saudi Force in Aden Col. Dheeb Al-Shahrani, and a number of Saudi military leaders.
Also, Maj. Gen. Sultan Al-Baqami and Col. Theeb Al-Shahrani, accompanied by several Saudi military officers, paid a visit to Brig. Gen. Tariq Saleh, member of the Presidential Leadership Council at the headquarters of the National Resistance Forces on the West Coast.
During the meeting, they discussed military operations developments and reviewed the procedures and measures that need to be taken. During the meeting, Brig. Gen. Saleh praised the role played by Saudi Arabia. The visit is in line with the directives of the Commander of the Joint Forces of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen Gen. Mutlaq Al-Azima.
Meanwhile, Gen. Al-Azima received Sheikh Abdulatif Al-Qabali, a renowned notable of the Yemeni tribe of Murad. During the meeting, Al-Azima offered his condolences to Sheikh Al-Qabali on the martyrdom of one of his sons in Aden.
Gen. Al-Azima reiterated Saudi Arabia’s continued support to the Yemeni people and government, underlying the deep-rooted Saudi-Yemeni ties.
