Shrek the Musical takes stage at KAUST with special performance for local children

THUWAL — The highly anticipated musical event of the year, Shrek the Musical, produced by Broadway Entertainment Group is coming to KAUST for limited performances only from March 6-11, 2023. Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks film that started it all, Shrek the Musical is a hilarious and heartwarming production that appeals to audiences of all ages.

In addition to public performances, KAUST is partnering with local schools to bring a special performance of Shrek the Musical to children from Thuwal. This initiative is part of KAUST's ongoing commitment to promoting education and cultural awareness in the local community.

The musical features a talented cast of actors, colorful costumes, and catchy songs that bring the beloved fairy tale to life. With its unique combination of romance, humor, and fairy tale twists, Shrek the Musical is sure to be a hit with the whole family.

KAUST is only the second location in the Kingdom to host Shrek the Musical, and tickets are expected to sell out quickly. With several tiers and time slots available, tickets start at SR150 and can be booked via the Jeddah Platinumlist website. Wheelchair-accessible seats are available upon request.
