RIYADH — The 16th relief plane arrived on Tuesday at Gaziantep Airport in Turkiye, coming from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.
The plane is carrying 86 tons and 19 kilograms of shelter materials, including 1,700 tents, 10,800 winter bags, 2,520 mattresses and 1,800 blankets.
The 16th Saudi relief plane arrived later Tuesday at Gaziantep Airport in the Republic of Turkiye, carrying aid and shelter materials.
It is worth mentioning that the 15th relief plane arrived on Monday at Gaziantep Airport, carrying 85 tons and 346 kgs of shelter materials to aid the earthquake victims in Syria and Turkiye.
This is part of the Saudi airlift, managed by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), and follows the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Salman as an embodiment of the Kingdom’s humanitarian role. — SG
