KSrelief takes part in European Humanitarian Forum in Brussels

BRUSSELS — Advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah is taking part in the activities of the second edition of the high-level European Humanitarian Forum (EHF), which started in the Belgian capital Brussels on Monday.

The forum, organized by the European Commission and Sweden, president of the Council of the European Union, will conclude on Wednesday.

Also attending is Ambassador Haifa bint Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al-Judaea, head of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Mission to the European Union and to the European Atomic Energy Community.

KSrelief’s participation in the forum is part of its constant endeavors to boost international efforts to develop humanitarian work, and find effective solutions to urgent challenges and the means to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals by connecting humanitarian work and development, and by exchanging information and expertise with relevant authorities, to improve living conditions and support vulnerable groups all over the world.

Dr. Al Rabeeah met on Monday with Swedish State Secretary to Minister for International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade Diana Janse on the sidelines of the European Humanitarian Forum.

The two officials discussed matters of common interest related to relief and humanitarian affairs, ways to enhance cooperation to provide aid to needy groups around the world, and the key topics raised at the EHF.

Janse praised the great role played by Saudi Arabia in the field of humanitarian works, highlighting KSrelief’s works to help the affected and needy people around the world.
