Saudi Gazette report

RIYADH — The National Platform for Charitable Work (Ehsan) has warned against exploiting its name in financial fraud for collecting donations, with the approach of the holy month of Ramadan.

The platform clarified that there are fraudulent entities that start and actively collect donations during Ramadan.

People must be wary of anyone, any entities who collect money through several means such as: phone calls, unofficial websites, social media platforms and SMS.

Ehsan called on everyone to stay careful and to guarantee to conduct the donations through its official website or via its app, to ensure that donations reach those who need and deserve them.
