BANGKOK — Saudi Arabia's embassy in Thailand has urged Saudi nationals visiting the country not to rent motorbikes due to the dangers involved.

The embassy said that it has noticed an increase in accidents that the Saudi citizens are exposed to while riding rented motorbikes across Thai cities.

It stated that the accidents led to several citizens sustaining severe serious and critical injuries.

The embassy also called on all Saudis in the country not to rent motorbikes unless they hold an international driver's license.
