Saudi Arabia has been hosting a diverse range of international sporting events — the Italian and Spanish Super Cup football tournaments, FIBA Basketball Championship, Diriyah Tennis Cup, WWE World Championship, and the NEOM Beach Soccer Championship to name a few.

Additionally, the Kingdom has announced plans to host several major tournaments and events in the near future, such as Extreme I-NEOM, Saudi Tour in Al-Ula, FIFA Club World Cup 2023, the 2027 Asian Cup for football teams, and the 2029 Asian Winter Games in Trogina (NEOM).

The Saudi Cup for Horses and the Live Golf Championship are among the highest prize money tournaments in the world, demonstrating the country's commitment to investing in sports.

In fact, the Quality-of-Life Program aims to host approximately 400 sporting events annually, through 100 sports federations backed by the Ministry of Sports. By doing so, Saudi Arabia is aligning with Vision 2030, which recognizes the economic and investment potential of the sports industry in enhancing the quality of life.

The Ministry of Investment's efforts to support the sports industry are expected to attract foreign investments and contribute to the growth of the sector.

The impact of Vision 2030 in promoting both local and global investments in sports is undeniable, as it highlights the country's focus on sports as a vital contributor to its future growth and development.
