Over 1.9 million people used Makkah Buses during 1st week of Ramadan

MAKKAH — The Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites has revealed that more than 1.9 million people have used the Makkah Buses during the first week of the holy month of Ramadan.

The commission pointed out that the average daily use of Makkah Buses is approximately 271,000 users. While the average number of daily trips is approximately more than 4,400 trips.

As for the number of trips within the first week, it has reached more than 31,000 trips through 12 lanes.

It is noteworthy that the Makkah Buses project is one of the Guests of God Service Program' initiatives.

It is being operated through 438 stop stations, 400 buses linking the central area and Grand Mosque with a number of vital sites in Makkah.
