RIYADH — President of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi received at his residence, while on a visit to Saudi Arabia, Saudi Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman.
The minister conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to the president and members of the council, as well as their wishes for security and stability for the Republic of Yemen and its people.
Al-Alimi and members of the council extended greetings to the leadership of Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, they reviewed the strong brotherly relations between the two countries and peoples, and reiterated the Kingdom's continued support for Yemen.
They also discussed the latest developments in Yemen, and the efforts of the council to achieve security and stability in the country and support all efforts to reach a comprehensive political solution to the Yemeni crisis and help Yemen and its people achieve peace and development.
The minister reaffirmed the Kingdom's unremitting support for the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council in all fields to serve the Yemeni people to achieve their aspirations.
Attending the meeting were Saudi Ambassador to Yemen Mohammed bin Saeed Al Jaber and a number of officials from both sides. — SPA
