DOHA — The International Billiards and Snooker Federation (IBSF) appointed on Friday, Saudi Najla Al-Olayan, vice president of Saudi Arabian Billiard and Snooker Federation, as a member and representative of the Asian continent to the IBSF Women's Committee.

The appointment of Al-Olayan came after a meeting of the Board of Directors of IBSF.

She was selected and endorsed by the IBSF members due to her expertise and achievements in improving the sports of billiards n the Kingdom.

The appointment of Al-Olayan to the IBSF marked the first time entry of a Saudi woman into the international sports federations. — SPA
