RIYADH — Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz Bin Saud has inaugurated the “Regions” platform, which would support the regions’ Emirates in Saudi Arabia to carry out their tasks.

The platform will review social, population and economic indicators in a way that support the decisions that will be provided by the ministries, government authorities concerned with spatial planning for public services, and determine its adequacy and achieving efficient spending in them.

Prince Abdulaziz inaugurated the platform while chairing the 30th annual meeting of the princes of the regions.

During the meeting, several topics were discussed, which aim to enable the regions’ Emirates to carry out its tasks, enhance its capabilities.

Several recommendations were made during the meeting, in preparation to submit them to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
