RIYADH — Saudi security authorities have foiled an attempt to smuggle more than 4 million Captagon tablets through Al-Batha land crossing, it was reported on Friday.

In a statement, the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority said as many as 4,152,000 tablets were found hidden in a consignment shipped into the Kingdom via Al-Batha.

The report said three people were arrested and referred to the prosecution authorities. — SPA
