RIYADH — The Transport General Authority (TGA) has announced that more than 14 million shipments were delivered to beneficiaries during Ramadan via the approved companies in delivering shipments.
The Authority said the shipping operations during the holy month of Ramadan 1444 AH has recorded an increase by 56% compared to the previous year.
It also revealed that it has received 40,000 reports and complaints that were dealt with, in addition to receiving 12,000 calls through the unified call center.
TGA said that the shipping companies are committed to preserving the contents of the shipments, in addition to dealing with the reports in a period not exceeding 7 days.
Moreover, the shipping companies are committed to preserve the confidentiality of the shipments' information, and protect it from being infringed upon, as well as responding to the beneficiaries and their inquiries.
