RIYADH — The Transport General Authority (TGA) has obtained the ISO/IEC 17020:2012 certificate for achieving international quality standards of control and inspection in the land, sea and rail transport sector.

The Authority carries out its control operations in accordance with the highest international standards.

The certification was obtained due to the Authority’s automating the processes of control in the land, sea and rail transport sectors with integrity, confidentiality and safe conditions.

It was also given for evaluating all systems and work procedures, technical and human capabilities, and the quality and the methodology of the process of control, and for the technical competence of its qualified, trained, experienced workers.

The Authority obtained the certificate after the Gulf Accreditation Centre conducted an external audit to ensure that the proper accreditation requirements are met. — SPA
