RIYADH — Saudi men with disabilities working in the private sector are now able to benefit from the Wusool transport assistance program, the Human Resources Development Fund (HADAF) has announced.
The program will cover 80% of the costs of each trip to and from the workplace through approved transportation apps.
This comes within the keenness of HADAF to add new services on the support programs, in order to ensure the job stability and increase the participation rate of people with disabilities in the labor market in accordance with the development plans, which come in line with Saudi Arabia's Vision 20230.
HADAF clarified that the Wusool transport assistance program hitherto targeted Saudi women workers in the private sector, including those with disabilities, and now Saudi male workers with disabilities also could benefit from the program.
Wusool provides financial support of up to 1,100 monthly for its beneficiaries for 24 months, and the program covers all Saudi regions.
Wusool aims to find a solution to reduce the burden of transportation costs by ensuring a transportation service with high safety, quality and security from and to the workplace, in cooperation with the private guided-taxi companies through the approved applications.
Those wishing to benefit from the service can register in Wusool through the link: https://www.hrdf.org.sa/Home.
