RIYADH —
Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan has confirmed to the United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres Saudi Arabia's determination to continue evacuating people from other countries that sought the Kingdom's assistance to bring home their citizens from war-torn Sudan.

Prince Faisal gave the assurances to the UN chief in a phone call he made on Thursday. During the phone conversation, they discussed the efforts made to stop the military escalation between the warring parties in Sudan,

The two sides also discussed efforts made in providing the necessary protection for the Sudanese civilians and foreigners living in Sudan.

Prince Faisal reviewed with the UN chief the aspects of cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the UN, in addition to discussing the latest international developments and efforts to enhance global peace and security.
