RIYADH — Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal Bin Farhan Bin Abdullah Monday received a telephone call from High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell.

The two officials discussed the latest developments in Sudan and updates on the Saudi-US initiative to host representatives of the Sudanese parties in Jeddah in a bid to create an atmosphere conducive to dialogue, to reduce the level of tensions in Sudan.

Prince Faisal and Borrell also discussed the latest developments in the regional and international arenas, and other issues of mutual concern. — SPA
