MAKKAH — The center for licensing and training workers who serve pilgrims and Umrah performers at the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah conducted a training course for 80 heads of pilgrim groups in Nigeria in preparing to perform Hajj this year.

The training program was attended by Director of the center Eng. Eyad Mohammed Fadul, Head of Training Department at the Hajj Establishment for Non-Arab Africans Mohammed Shukri Zamzami, a team of Saudi trainers and a team from the Pilgrims Affairs Office of Nigeria.

The training course aimed to equip and qualify Nigerian heads of pilgrim groups in their home country by providing them with a detailed explanation of the pilgrims' journey from their departure country to all the facilities before, during, and after performing the Hajj rituals.

The program also included raising awareness about all aspects of the Hajj rituals, tafweej skills (group dispatch), and crowd management during Hajj. — SPA
