JEDDAH/ PARIS —The Minister of Economy and Planning, Faisal Bin Fadhil Al-Ibrahim, met Wednesday with the Lebanese Minister of Economy and Trade, Amin Salam.
During the meeting in Jeddah, they discussed topics of common interest and areas of cooperation.
In Paris, the Ministry of Economy and Planning, representing Saudi Arabia, actively participated in the international dialogue on robust, open, and inclusive economies.
It took part in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Steering Group Meeting of the MENA-OECD Initiative on Governance and Competitiveness for Development.
The event took place from May 15-16, 2023, at the OECD headquarters in Paris.
Heading the Kingdom’s delegation was Hattan Bin Samman, the general supervisor for international organizations at the Ministry of Economy and Planning.
The delegation engaged in various sessions on topics such as ‘Fostering Resilience to Global Challenges in the MENA Region’ and ‘Addressing global public governance challenges to enhance trust and prosperity.’
