GENEVA — Saudi Arabia's Health Minister Fahad Al-Jalajel and his Iranian counterpart Bahram Eynollahi have agreed to form a technical team comprising representatives from both sides to discuss fields of health cooperation.
The health cooperation will be especially in the fields of public health, health research and community medicine.
The agreement was signed during a meeting between the ministers on the sideline of the 76th session of the World Health Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland, under the slogan WHO at 75: Saving Lives, Driving Health for All, which started on May 21 and will continue until May 30.
During the meeting, the Saudi and Iranian ministers exchanged cordial conversations and discussed the health situations in the two countries. Working on developing joint health work was also discussed.
