E-integration of Public Prosecution and Commerce Ministry completed

RIYADH —
Saudi Arabia's Public Prosecution and the Ministry of Commerce have completed the electronic integration process between the two government entities.

This move comes in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. The two sides aim to improve the operational procedures and raise their effectiveness within the framework of their constant endeavor to develop a joint legal framework and work system

The Public Prosecution and the Ministry of Commerce also aim to improve the procedures in a way that contributes to the economic and commercial development of Saudi Arabia, as well as to achieving economic security and combating crimes, such as money laundering, cover-up, commercial fraud, crimes related to corporate systems and commercial data, and others.

The electronic integration process has contributed to speeding up the performance and shortened the time taken to access cases from the Commerce Ministry to the Public Prosecution and the exchange of documents to less than 3 minutes.
