Mohammed bin Salman heads to France on a state visit

JEDDAH — Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman left on Wednesday for France on a state visit, the Royal Court announced in a statement.

"Upon the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman left for the French Republic on a state visit," the statement read.

During the visit, the Crown Prince is set to meet with French President Emmanuel Macron and will lead the Kingdom’s delegation participating in the summit “For a New Global Financial Pact”, which is scheduled to be held in Paris on June 22-23.

The Crown Prince will also participate in the Kingdom's official reception for Riyadh's candidacy to host Expo 2030, which is scheduled to be held in Paris on June 19. — SPA
