Interior Minister inspects development projects in Holy Sites

MAKKAH — Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud inspected several development projects in the holy sites in Makkah. He was accompanied by Minister of Hajj and Umrah Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, Minister of Transport and Logistics Services Eng. Saleh Al-Jasser, and several senior officials of the Ministry of Interior.

During his tour, Prince Abdulaziz was briefed on the new development projects that were implemented this year to serve the pilgrims, including a project to develop and improve Jabal al-Rahma and the surrounding area and another project to prepare and refine the mountainous areas and plateau sites in Mina and Muzdalifah, and work to improve the capabilities of electric power stations, in addition to developing pilgrims' camps in Al-Mashaer and the waiting areas for pilgrims at Al-Mashaer train stations. — SPA
