MAKKAH — A convoy of the Ministry of Health set off carrying Hajj pilgrims of various nationalities hospitalized in Madinah hospitals, towards the Holy Sites.
The Hajj pilgrims will be hospitalized in the Jabal Al-Rahma hospital in the Holy Site of Arafat, in order to complete their treatment plan while performing the Hajj rituals of this season.
The Ministry said that the convoys include an integrated fleet of 16 ambulances equipped with all integrated medical equipment, in addition to the presence of a specialized medical team consisting of 83 medical personnel of doctors, nurses and paramedics.
The fleet also include 4 ambulances stationed on the immigration road located between Madinah and Makkah, as well as 2 intensive care ambulances, and 5 supportive ambulances, an integrated oxygen cabin, in addition to a mobile first aid unit, and a bus to transport patients' companions.
The Ministry is seeking annually to transport hospitalized Hajj pilgrims in the Madinah hospitals to the Holy Sites, in order to be able to complete their Hajj rituals with health and peace.
This is in addition to completing their treatment stages in the Holy Sites' hospitals after providing them all the necessary medical services in the hospitals of Madinah.
