MADINAH — The number of pilgrims of different nationalities who arrived in Madinah following the Hajj has reached 142,588. They came by air and road, as well as the Haramain High-Speed Railway.
The statistics of the Hajj and Umrah committee clarified that the total number of Hajj pilgrims who arrived in Madinah on Wednesday was 17,258, of whom 15,159 arrived at the Hijra Station aboard 395 flights.
The Pilgrim Center received 302 of Hajj pilgrims who came by land via 7 trips, while the Haramain High-Speed Railway station received 1,797 pilgrims in 395 trips.
As for the departure process, the statistics show that the number of Hajj pilgrims who departed to their countries reached 36,963, while those who still remained in Madinah as of Wednesday were 105,617 pilgrims from different nationalities.
The percentage of the housing occupancy rate in Madinah is 35%, while the number of pilgrims who benefited from the medical services reached 56,894.
