RIYADH — Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan received a phone call from the Chairman of the Sudanese Transitional Sovereignty Council Lt. Gen. Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, during which they discussed developments in Sudan.
Prince Faisal confirmed to Lt. Gen. Al-Burhan the importance of commitment of all Sudanese parties to restore the course of humanitarian work.
The Saudi foreign minister has also affirmed the necessity for commitment to protect the civilians and workers in the relief field, as well as to ensure the safety of humanitarian corridors to guarantee the arrival of basic aid.
Prince Faisal has renewed Saudi Arabia's call for calm and giving priority for the national interest, and stopping all forms of military escalation.
He also renewed the Kingdom's call to resort to a political solution that guarantees the return of security and stability to Sudan and its people.
