Pakistan PM receives Saudi Deputy FM in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD
— Pakistan Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif received Saudi Arabia's Deputy Foreign Minister Waleed Elkhereiji during his official visit to the Pakistani capital, Islamabad, on Tuesday.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed bilateral relations and ways to enhance and develop them in different fields, in addition to discussing developments on the regional and international arenas and the efforts exerted toward them.

Elkhereiji conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman to the Pakistani Prime Minister and their wishes for Pakistan's government and people for more progress and prosperity.

On his part, Sharif conveyed his greetings and appreciation for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince, wishing the government and people of Saudi Arabia more prosperity and well-being.

The meeting was attended by Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf Bin Saeed Al-Malki.

Elkhereiji also met with the Pakistani Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar in Islamabad, during which the two sides reviewed the solid relationship between Riyadh and Islamabad and ways to strengthen and develop them in several fields.

The two sides discussed the mechanism of intensifying coordination in several areas of common interest, in addition to the latest developments on the regional and international levels, and the efforts exerted toward them.
