RIYADH — Health Minister Fahad Al-Jalajel met with Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the director general of the World Health Organization (WHO), in India.

The two sides met during Al-Jalajel heading of the Saudi Arabia's delegation participating in the meetings of the joint health and finance ministers of the G20 countries held in India.

During the meeting, Al-Jalajel and Ghebreyesus exchanged bilateral talks, as well as discussed the health conditions, in addition to the organization's role in the outputs of the current and upcoming Brazilian presidency in health topics.

They also discussed the continuation of the outputs of Saudi Arabia’s presidency regarding digital health and patient safety, as well as preparedness and response to health emergencies.
