ALQASSIM — Al-Hilal showcased a strong performance and complete control as they secured a resounding four-goal victory over Al-Raed in the third round of the Saudi Pro League.
Al-Hilal broke the deadlock in the 42nd minute through player Aleksandar Mitrovic, who recently joined the team from English club Fulham. The dominance continued as Salem Al-Dawsari added the second goal from a penalty kick in the 56th minute.
Al-Dawsari struck again in the 69th minute, sealing the third goal for Al-Hilal. In the dying moments of the match, Abdullah Al-Hamdan completed Al-Hilal's four-goal triumph with a goal in the 89th minute.
The match saw a player from each team receiving a red card. Oumar Gonzalez from Al-Raed was shown a red card after a harsh challenge with Al-Hilal's player Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, who also received a direct red card in the 76th minute.
With this victory, Al-Hilal's points tally rises to seven, securing the third position in the league table. Meanwhile, Al-Raed remains at the bottom of the table without any points so far.
