King Salman sends verbal message to president of Tanzania

DAR ES SALAAM — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has sent a verbal message to the President of the United Republic of Tanzania Samia Suluhu Hassan concerning bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation.

The message was delivered by the Royal Court's Advisor, Ahmed Bin Abdulaziz Kattan during his visit to Dar es Salaam, the capital of Tanzania.

During the meeting, Kattan extended warm greetings from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Salman to President Samia Suluhu Hassan.

They expressed their wishes for the continued progress and prosperity of the Tanzanian government and its people.

In response, the Tanzanian president conveyed her greetings and appreciation to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Crown Prince, and the government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

She also expressed her country's support for Saudi Arabia's bid to host Expo 2030 in Riyadh and expressed gratitude for the upcoming First Saudi-African and Fifth Arab-African summits to be held in Riyadh this year.

The discussions between the two sides touched upon the bilateral relations and ways to strengthen and develop them across various fields. They also exchanged views on regional and international matters of mutual interest.

Present at the meeting was the acting Chargé d'Affaires of the Kingdom's Embassy to the United Republic of Tanzania, Fahd Al-Harbi. — SPA
