RIYADH — Minister of Justice Dr. Walid Al-Samaani embarked on an official visit to Albania, where he engaged in crucial discussions and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Albanian Justice Minister Olsi Manja.
The MoU serves as a commitment to foster cooperation between the two nations, enabling the exchange of valuable information, experiences, and global best practices in the realm of justice.
During their meeting, the two ministers delved into various avenues to strengthen bilateral relations within the judicial and justice sectors.
Minister Al-Samaani provided insights into the comprehensive reforms undertaken in Saudi Arabia's judicial sector. These reforms, backed by the unwavering support of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and conducted under the supervision and guidance of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, encompass a series of specialized legislations. These legislations, directly overseen by the Crown Prince, encompass crucial areas such as personal status law and civil transactions law, among others.
The signing of the MoU marks a significant step toward fostering closer ties and cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Albania in legal and justice affairs, promising a more robust exchange of knowledge and practices in the field of justice administration.
