JEDDAH — The Permanent Rainfall Committee of Jeddah Municipality held its periodic meeting to discuss preparations for the rainy season expected to be witnessed by the governorate during the coming period of this year.
During the meeting, the committee discussed the executive plans to confront the effects that may result from the rain.
Moreover, they discussed the preparations, hypotheses, approved plans, and coordination mechanism with the relevant concerned authorities.
This was done in order to raise full readiness to implement field work in accordance with the decided plans.
The rain plans also included the early preparation for the season by working to maintain and clean the existing rainwater drainage network.
Additionally, to ensure the readiness of pumps, equipment, as well as individuals, and reviewing the distribution of the team to support centers and focal points.
