RIYADH — Under the patronage of Princess Sara Bint Mashhour, wife of the Crown Prince, the King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah) unveiled the inaugural edition of the book “Saudi Traditional Fashion in the Central Region” on Monday.

Penned by Professor Dr. Laila Al-Bassam, the book serves as a testament to Darah’s commitment, backed by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Chairman of the Board of Directors King Salman and the Crown Prince, vice chairman of the Board of Directors, in preserving the cultural legacy of Saudi Arabia.

This distinctive publication opens a historical window, allowing readers to delve into the opulent tapestry of Saudi cultural heritage.

It provides an invaluable opportunity to gain insights into the traditional costumes proudly worn by Saudis while serving as a means to safeguard and document this heritage in a rejuvenated, modern, and elegant manner.
