RIYADH — The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Kuwait Sheikh Ahmed Fahad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah touched down in Riyadh on Tuesday for an official visit to the Kingdom.

Upon his arrival at the Royal Terminal at King Khalid International Airport, he was welcomed by Minister of Defense Prince Khalid Bin Salman, who extended a gracious reception to Sheikh Ahmed, affirming the strong bonds between the two nations.

The Kuwaiti deputy prime minister and defense minister also received greetings from the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Kingdom Sheikh Sabah Nasser Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, highlighting the close diplomatic ties, as well as the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jassem Mohammed Al-Budaiwi.
