RIYADH — The Executive Board of UNESCO has approved an official six-year partnership with the King Abdulaziz and his Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba), with the aim of boosting cooperation in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

Mawhiba Secretary General Dr. Amal Al-Hazzaa said that this partnership reflects the foundation's leading role in discovering talents and empowering students in STEM locally, regionally and internationally.

It is also based on its duty to raise an empowered and innovative generation capable of making a comprehensive change in the global reality, finding solutions to various challenges, and contributing to the sustainable development and prosperity of humanity. — SPA
